Learning Support Assistants
FTE Salary: £17,787 pa pro rata
Actual Annual Salary: £6,748 - £11,810 pa
Contract Details: Ranging from 20 hours to 35 hours per week, over 32 weeks per year

We have a range of contracts available from 20 hours per week to 35 hours per week. These roles are 32 weeks per year. Please indicate on your application your preferred weekly hours.
We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our experienced team of Learning Support Assistants who provide support to individual learners over and above what is normally provided in the standard learning programme. In this role you will be supporting students with identified needs in the classroom environment using a wide range of strategies together with the knowledge of each learners' needs and preferences.
You would be required to hold a Level 2 qualification or higher in English, Maths and ICT. If you have a learning support or other relevant qualification at Level 2 or higher this would be beneficial but not essential.
We would expect you to have an understanding, appreciation and experience of Specific Learning Differences, Disabilities and/or Sensory Impairment and the most appropriate learning support methods.
