Salary: £18,828 - £19,121 pa pro rata
Hours: Various contract sizes available on both campuses
Contract Details: Permanent, Term-Time

About the role:
Could you help our Learners achieve their full potential by providing them with additional learning support alongside the normal curriculum provision to help them succeed?
A keen interest in encouraging and inspiring even the most challenging of minds is a must and previous experience of working with young people essential. You will work with individuals or small groups, as supported and directed by our Learning Support Co-ordinators and in collaboration with the teaching staff to encourage students to engage with activities or to work independently.

In this role, you will:
• Work to support students with additional learning needs,
• Support students to increase their self-esteem and encourage independent working, modelling resilience.
Qualifications and experience required:
• Level 2 qualification in Learning Support or equivalent (or a commitment to work towards this whilst working with the College),
• Level 2 English and Maths qualification (or equivalent)
• The confidence to work across a wide age range and ability level
• Understanding, appreciation and experience of Specific Learning Differences, Disabilities and/or Sensory Impairment and the most appropriate learning support methods
• A positive and adaptable mind-set
