About the Role
The Specialist Exams Access Arrangements Assessor will lead the College’s specialist
assessment function for Exam Access Arrangements across all campuses, personally
undertaking JCQ-compliant assessments, ensuring the quality and audit readiness of supporting
evidence, and line managing the Exam Access Arrangements Officer.
To identify, assess, and recommend appropriate examination access arrangements for students
with disabilities, learning difficulties, medical conditions, or special educational needs in
accordance with Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations. The postholder will work
collaboratively with curriculum, support, examinations, and safeguarding teams to ensure
students are able to demonstrate their knowledge and skills fairly and equitably.
