We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic colleague who shares our vision of teaching, who will seize an exciting opportunity to work at Newham College. The successful candidate will join a large team. We offer the opportunity to work in a very well resourced, collaborative department with great facilities, a carefully planned curriculum and outstanding support. Students achieve highly in our school, and we are proud of the progress they make.

Given the variety of this exciting role, we recognise that it will appeal to different types of people. Examples might include:

  •  A recent graduate who wants to take their first steps in working in education and with young people.
  •  Someone who currently or has previously worked with young people in different settings and who thrives on supporting them to flourish.

This is an exciting and varied role that will have responsibility for a range of areas. You will be connected to a particular set of curriculum areas and become part of that team.

Supported by experts with genuine opportunities for career progression and personal development? Choose a career with Newham College and you will support children in our education settings to meet their individual needs and overcome their challenges preparing them to live full and happy lives. This is an exciting time to join a leading and growing organisation as part of a friendly, professional, and supportive team.

You will be a confident classroom practitioner, with experience of working with young people in formal educational settings.

There is a very high standard of teaching across the school which, coupled with the strong work ethic, allows pupils to flourish. The school provides a broad, balanced and innovative curriculum that is designed to stretch and challenge pupils to reach their goals.

The successful candidate will be a strong team player and be committed to raising the standards within the school.

We welcome visits to our school (during term time).
