Lecturer – Inclusive Learning
Part-time (28.8 hours) Fixed Term (July 2025)
£34,690 - £44,409 Pro Rata
Are you passionate about supporting and developing the skills and knowledge of learners with additional needs?
We are looking for a qualified, experienced special needs teacher to join our Supported and Inclusive Learning team. Experience of working with learners with social, emotional, and mental health needs is essential for this role. Our department delivers a range of courses that support young people to prepare for adulthood including vocational, employability and independence pathways. A commitment to working with young people/adults with additional support needs underpins all aspects of our work.
This post will involve developing student’s communication, independence, employability, and life skills. An interest and commitment to personalised learning, a student-centred approach and experience of working with young people and adults with learning disabilities is essential.
You will be required to deliver the curriculum effectively through a variety of different learning strategies, communicating effectively with students and parents/carers as appropriate and providing learners with appropriate tutorial support in accordance with the programme and individual requirements.
