We are currently recruiting a qualified, experienced, and enthusiastic teacher to join our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team on a Hourly Paid basis. Our department delivers a range of courses that support learners with SEND to develop skills including independent living skills, communication, personal development, employability, and enterprise. A commitment to working with young people/adults with additional support needs underpins all aspects of our work.

 The post will involve working with School Link learners. This role is essential in delivering the Link programme, which offers school-aged learners the opportunity to experience college life in a supportive environment. The programme plays a vital role in preparing these students for future progression into further education by helping them build confidence, develop key skills, and become familiar with college expectations.

 You will be required to deliver the curriculum effectively through a variety of different learning strategies, communicating effectively with students as appropriate and providing them with appropriate tutorial support.

 You should be an honours graduate or have a relevant final professional qualification (or equivalent experience). You should also have a teaching qualification and recent experience of teaching or training within the specialism of SEND.
