About the role

As part of the Operations management team within Hart Learning and Development, you will have operational oversight of the Engineering and Construction Apprenticeship provision, with responsibility of the management and planning of the sector to help reach our business objectives. This role involves strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and operational leadership to ensure excellence in training, compliance with industry standards, and the continuous development of apprentices and staff. You will contribute to the governance requirements and support the Head of Apprenticeships in setting the business direction.

We currently offer 6 apprenticeship programmes to over 200 apprentices within our Construction Trades working with a number of SME’s providing apprenticeship opportunities to our learners. We are a team of 12 delivering apprenticeships in Electrical, Plumbing, Gas, Motor Vehicle and Carpentry.

The successful applicant will have experience of managing Apprenticeship provision and will lead the already successful Construction and Motor Vehicle apprenticeship provision as well as developing a new Engineering provision. This role is based at our Engineering and Construction Campus in Stevenage, close to a number of world leading engineering employers.
