Employer Engagement Administrator

Where you'll work: The role is multi-sited and will require travel to all campuses. 

Your hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) / 52 weeks per annum

Your pay: Tier 7 - £21,712 per annum

We are looking for a dynamic, confident and well organised individual to support and manage administrative activities across our employer engagement and apprenticeship provision. This role requires a good level of both inter-personnel skills and high customer service skills, due to the level of the role being employer facing.

This is an exciting new role, which will offer wide ranging skills development opportunities, alongside working with a range of industry professionals.

Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • To provide day to day administration support to the employer engagement team and managers, including but not limited to letters, organising Industry Placement meetings, production of minutes, agendas and documentation, preparation of external contracts, filing, e-filing and uploading of all Student placement documentation to centralised systems and the Connect platform;
  • To organise, plan and co-ordinate meetings, responsible for minute taking and circulation of agendas, itemised actions, and diary administration activities;
  • To work closely with curriculum teams on employer engagement of Apprenticeships and Work Experience;
  • To assist with the admin support for work-experience, and employer engagement side of apprenticeships, engaging with employers on recruitment activities;
  • Act as a point of contact to promote and maintain a regular and positive relationship with employers;
  • To assist in the production of, and to collate, reports for work experience activity (monthly, termly and annually), and ensure paperwork / reports are audit compliant at all times;
  • To administer the process of raising of PO’s against employer engagement team budget lines;
  • To be flexible in working arrangements to meet business needs, including, hours of work, supporting open evenings / open days and calendarized key events across the college;
  • To proactively work with the employer engagement team for the development and maintenance of a supportive and effective administration system.
