Yard Assistant (Casual)

Where you’ll work: This role is based at the College’s Hadlow campus

Your hours: As and when required (Mostly weekends and half terms)– no guaranteed hours; zero-hour contract

Your pay: Age-Related National Minimum Wage

Here at Hadlow College, we have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individuals to join our Equine Centre on a casual basis!

Reporting to the Yard Manager, the postholder will carry out a range of equine and related duties at the Equine Centre in support of yard maintenance and horse care. The postholder will be responsible for maintenance and care of horses as well as a range of duties associated with the day-to-day running of the centre.

Team working skills and good communication skills are essential to all those who apply as you will be working cohesively alongside our existing experienced team to provide a high level of welfare for the horses. You will assist in maintaining the college equipment under the direction of the Yard Manager.
