The Governing Body of Coedffranc Primary wishes to appoint an excellent experienced and highly motivated teacher to support the school’s aim of achieving excellence in all areas of our provision so that our community can continue to view us proudly as a place of safety, support and progress for their children.
Our pupils want our Governing Body to appoint a leader who will strive to support our pupils to flourish personally, emotionally and academically – always progressing towards the four purposes so that their life chances are enhanced every day through high quality learning and teaching.
The post holder will be required to set high standards in all aspects of school life and must be enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about children and their learning. They must be able to support the development of whole school improvement with a clear focus on developing teaching and learning within our new curriculum. They should be highly skilled, highly motivated and passionate about all pupils’ progress. The ability and commitment to work strategically as a member of the leadership team and with staff, parents. the wider community and most importantly the pupils would be essential.
The successful applicant will:
• Have experience of managing and supporting staff as part of a Senior Leadership team;
• Make a positive contribution to the self-evaluation and development of the School and be able to maximise teaching and learning opportunities;
• Be a recognised outstanding classroom practitioner with a strong commitment to raising pupils’ achievements;
• Be committed to improving pupils’ academic and well-being outcomes through the Curriculum for Wales;
• Have the necessary interpersonal and organisational skills to lead by example consistently;
• Show a passion for our children and a commitment to developing the emotional and physical well-being of Coedffranc pupils giving them the roots to grow and the wings to fly.
