The successful candidate will work in partnership with the headteacher, a dedicated and caring staff, a supportive governing body and happy, motivated and receptive children. The successful applicant will be able to:
- Support a clear vision for Catholic education
- Support a clear vision in maintaining and developing our school in partnership with the headteacher, staff, governors, parents, the diocese and the local authority
- Promote the development of dynamic teamwork and collective responsibility across the whole school
- Support the headteacher to lead, manage and motivate staff and pupils
- Support all pupils to make progress towards the four purposes
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
- Understand the importance of the school at the heart of its community
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Additional Learning Needs provision
- Have a detailed working knowledge of the Curriculum for Wales particularly LLC (Language, Literacy and Communication)
