We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated Lunchtime Supervisor to join our school, to provide supervisory cover while children eat lunch and during their play time. The work is mostly undertaken outdoors.
This post is for up to 5 lunchtimes per week. We will consider applications from those who are able to commit to at least 3 lunchtimes per week, one of which must be a Friday.
The main duties are:
• Encouraging pupils to interact with each other positively during play, ensuring children are playing safely and with respect for one another.
• Engaging the pupils in simple activities and games.
• Assisting in the management and resolution of any behavioural issues.
• Administering first aid as required, including logging accidents and injuries (first aid training will be given)
The successful candidate will:
• Be energetic and creative, with the ability to motivate and inspire pupils in their care

• Have the ability to work independently and proactively.
• Be an excellent communicator and able to develop positive relationships with children and staff
