Cover Teacher (0.8 FTE) – Fixed Term (Two Terms)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed, and dynamic teacher to join our welcoming Catholic primary school as a PPA Cover Teacher (0.8 FTE) for a fixed period of two terms, commencing 1st September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented practitioner who enjoys the variety of working across all primary age ranges and is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
You will:
Provide high-quality PPA throughout the school
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the school curriculum
Maintain a positive and purposeful learning environment
Work collaboratively with class teachers and support staff to ensure continuity for pupils

Is a dynamic and adaptable teacher with the ability to teach across all primary phases
Demonstrates excellent organisational skills and can manage time effectively
Has strong interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
Shows effective behaviour management and creates a calm, supportive classroom environment
Has a clear understanding of, and commitment to, the Catholic ethos of the school (applicants of all faiths are welcome who support this ethos)
Is reflective, enthusiastic, and committed to continuous professional development
