Queen Elizabeth's School is looking for a Head of Chemistry to join our fantastic Science department. Could this be you?

Actual Salary £30,000 - £46,525 per annum (M1 to UP3) and in addition, TLR 2.3, £7,847 per annum.

It is offered on a full time and permanent basis.

Our thriving Science department is currently recruiting for a Head Chemistry. The department is very well resourced and there will be the opportunity to teach large amounts of Chemistry at GCSE and A Level.

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Support the head of faculty in developing the quality of teaching and learning within Chemistry.
  • Support in the promotion of excellent standards of student learning, achievement, progress, attainment and behaviour through working effectively and collaboratively
  • Ideally we would like to appoint someone who has previous experience of:
  • Teaching Science and Chemistry at GCSE and A-Level and who has a proven track record of effective teaching and successful outcomes for students,
  • Excellent subject knowledge coupled with an ability to deliver inspirational lessons.
  • The use of technology to effectively to enhance student's learning
