About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Instructor to join our dynamic team. You will deliver high-quality practical instruction and assessment within the Equine curriculum, ensuring students gain the skills and knowledge required for successful careers in the industry. The role involves supporting teaching activities, maintaining facilities and equipment, and contributing to an outstanding learner experience. Flexibility is essential, as some evening and weekend work may be required to support events and industry engagement.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality practical instruction and occasional theory sessions within the Equine curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records in line with awarding body requirements.
- Maintain facilities, equipment, and resources to ensure effective delivery.
- Contribute to departmental KPIs, marketing events, and industry engagement activities.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a minimum BHS Stage 3 Coach qualification (Stage 4 Coach or equivalent is desirable).
- Level 2 Maths and English (or be willing to work towards).
- Have demonstrable industry experience and practical equine skills.
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification at CET level or be willing to work towards one.
- Be able to inspire and motivate learners through engaging practical instruction.
