Rochdale Sixth Form College (RSFC) opened in 2010 to address the significant underachievement in A Level performance in the borough. Since then, it has raised achievement in the area dramatically and is recognised nationally as a centre of excellence. The college is rated Ofsted outstanding and, is consistently ranked as one of the highest performing colleges in the country according to the DfE's performance tables and national achievement rate tables.

Due to expansion and increase in student numbers, we are looking for a Teacher of Geography & Geology. RSFC currently offers Edexcel A Level Geography to approximately 100 students across year 12 and 13. The department continues to grow whilst achieving excellent results; the department regularly achieves exceptional results in terms of value added and high grades. The department is well equipped with bespoke resources that give each student a unique opportunity to achieve the highest grades. You will have the opportunity to work alongside our current outstanding Geography teacher and with a passionate group of professionals within the Humanities department as a whole. This opportunity will provide you with an incredibly supportive team who aspire to provide the best education and experience for young people.
