We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic ICT Lecturer to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in raising student achievement through engaging and innovative teaching, while also contributing to the overall success of our Computing and Science department.
You will be responsible for:
Teaching: Deliver engaging and comprehensive lectures, workshops, and tutorials in 2D/3D graphics and website development.
Curriculum Development: Design and update course materials, syllabi, and assessments to ensure they meet industry standards and student needs.
Student Support: Provide academic guidance and support to students, including feedback on assignments and projects.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the department's academic offerings and participate in departmental meetings and activities.
Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to maintain expertise in the field.
You will ideally have the following:
Education: A degree in digital media, Graphic Design, Web Development, or a related field. A Degree in Games design/ Esports is preferred.
Experience: At least 2 years of teaching experience at the (18 and under) education level, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in 2D/3D graphics, eports and website development.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Dreamweaver, and Canva.
Candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to students of varying skill levels. A passion for creativity and innovation in teaching and design and ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the department's goals.
