The Careers Support and Liaison Officer post is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to support students in being prepared for their future.
The successful candidate will work with the College Careers Advisor to ensure that all students acquire the skills, knowledge and attitudes to progress within the College and from college to Higher Education, Apprenticeships or employment in line with the Gatsby benchmarks and CDI framework. He/she will work closely with the wider college community to develop students’ understanding of potential progression options and the skills needed for employment and higher education, through appropriate careers education, information, advice and guidance activities.
There is an expectation that this role will also work with local schools to promote awareness of the post-16 curriculum offer available and to create and maintain a positive image of Richmond upon Thames College within the community.
