Salary: £41,739 - £43,117 per annum. Incremental progression throughout the band is available

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Head of the Inclusive Learning department. If you are an outstanding practitioner with high levels of experience and a specialist knowledge of working in an educational setting with SEND students, we would be delighted to hear from you. You will bring a positive attitude and high expectations and work as part of a friendly and supportive team in developing and achieving our students’ high expectations and aspirations.
Candidates must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, EHCP, High Needs Funding, exam access arrangements and additional support in a post-16 environment. They should demonstrate a clear and empathetic understanding of the barriers that a student can face and a proactive approach to engaging and supporting students. The successful candidate will maintain a teaching commitment whilst effectively managing support staff in order to provide a high-quality service. They will have highly effective communication skills, outstanding organisational skills and experience of working with internal and external stakeholders.
