About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity at The University Centre Salford City College for a HE Media Production teacher to join our team. We pride ourselves on academic excellence whilst engaging with industry partners as we prepare our students for their pathways into the Media industries.
The successful candidate must be an enthusiastic and skilled HE Media teacher with a proven track record of academic success in teaching across HE (Level 4, 5 & 6). They should be proficient in the use of Adobe software’s including Premier Pro, as well as Davinci Resolve editing software and having some knowledge of Avid Media Composer would be a plus. In addition, it is desirable that the candidate must have relevant industry experience and a solid network of industry knowledge and contacts.
We would love to hear from candidates with an excellent understanding of media theories and practical modules for an inclusive and innovative delivery approach. It is expected that candidates must have prior experience in teaching and hold a relevant teaching qualification. The successful candidate must have an absolute commitment to standards, contributing to the development of the curriculum and centre, delivering an outstanding experience and successful outcomes for students.
