Data Technician Apprentice

Contract Type: Fixed term 24 months | Hours per Week: 37| Location: Dronfield Road, M6 7FR
Working as part of the team at SCC Group that is responsible for the development of information systems, reporting and business process automation (Technical Information Service), you will learn to source, manipulate, validate, present, and analyse a variety of data to support operational delivery and performance monitoring. You will be working with and reporting on datasets belonging to all areas of the College from Student Records to Human Resources.
The role will introduce you to several Microsoft data query and reporting tools, including SQL Server, Power BI and advance Excel Functions. In addition to the extraction and reporting of data you will be introduced to web development tools to support the capture of custom datasets and data transfer methodologies such as Application Programming Interface (API).
