Salary: £28,328 - £46,914 (Pro rata salary £16,997 - £28,148). Incremental progression throughout the band is available.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and passionate teacher of Acting and Drama to join our outstanding Performing Arts team on a permanent basis. We are seeking an excellent practitioner with the ability to inspire, challenge and support learners across BTEC Acting and A Level Drama & Theatre.
Working within our vibrant Performing Arts department, you will join a team dedicated to creativity, high standards, and exceptional student outcomes. The department delivers a wide range of successful courses, including BTEC Performing Arts pathways, A Level Dance and Drama, and HNC Musical Theatre, alongside extensive enrichment and industry-focused opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have:
• A proven track record of delivering high-quality Acting / Drama teaching at post‑16 level.
• Strong subject knowledge across classical, contemporary and devised work and current industry practices.
• Experience preparing students for both academic and practical assessments, with an understanding of current BTEC and A Level Drama specifications as well as supporting them with next steps and progression
• The ability to nurture confident, skilled performers through structured training, rehearsal processes and performance projects.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, along with a genuine commitment to raising aspirations and expanding creative potential.
Industry experience, directing experience, or a background in applied theatre, community theatre, or performance-making would be advantageous.
