About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Hospitality apprentice to work in the Glasshouse restaurant based at Worsley College. The restaurant is open to the local community and operates as a fully licensed facility offering
lunch and dinner service, as well as providing in-house catering for Salford City College and various functions. You will be part of the Hospitality team and be involved in delivering outstanding customer service in food and beverage services to our new and existing customers. Main duties will include: Maintaining the restaurants outstanding appearance, maintaining the bookings system, communicating with customers, beverage stock control and liaising with the teaching team to keep everyone updated.
During your role at Worsley College you will be working towards the level 3 Hospitality Supervisor apprenticeship standard, placing you in a unique position for future employment in the food and beverage sector. You will work over five days, one of which will be dedicated to your qualification. This role will suit somebody that has an interest in the hospitality sector and wants to progress into a range of roles including: Food and Beverage supervisor/Manager, Food service waiter / waitress, bar staff, Bar manager, Events co-ordinator.
