Inclusion Support Assistant

Salary: £23,817 - £26,183 (Pro rata salary £21,110 - £23,207). Incremental progression throughout the

band is available.

Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31st July 2026, Term Time Only | Hours per Week: 36 | Location: Eccles

About the Role

To provide high-quality, flexible and learner centred support that enables learners with SEND to achieve, belong and thrive in our

college environment. You will support learners with diverse needs in and out of the classroom with their academic progress,

personal development, well-being, inclusion and safeguarding.

You will join a team of dedicated Inclusion Support Assistants in the Inclusive Learning department, supporting students with

moderate learning difficulties and disabilities to work towards Skills for Life qualifications. You will be based at Eccles Sixth Form

College but may work across our college sites, and off site, to support learners to attend community and work placement

opportunities. You will work closely with classroom tutors to break down barriers and ensure that learners are able to access the

curriculum and reach their full potential. We’re looking for a passionate and innovative individual who understands the challenges

that young people with SEND may face in their learning. The ideal candidate will take a proactive, person-centred approach to

ensure every learner receives the support they need to succeed
