About the Role
We are seeking an inspirational and driven Lead Deputy Head of Department to join our Pre-Advanced English and Maths team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious educator to play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our learners and staff within this vital curriculum area.
As Lead Deputy Head of Department, you will support the Head of Department in leading the strategic and operational delivery of high-quality English and Maths provision. You will be responsible for line managing and developing a team of teaching staff, ensuring outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment across the department.
You will also contribute to curriculum planning, quality improvement, and the development of innovative learning resources, helping to drive student achievement, retention, and progression.
