About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join an outstanding Sport and Public Services department at Eccles Sixth Form College. We are looking for a dynamic and pro-active individual to inspire our large cohort of students. The college delivers a range of sport courses from level one to level three, with a strong emphasis on value added and preparation of students for progression.

We would welcome applications from both Sports and Sports Science specialists with a strong background in teaching in schools or in further education. They will have a track record of excellent outcomes for students. Experience of delivery at level 3 and above would be advantageous although not essential for this role. You will work as part of a team to raise achievements and realise potential in all students through outstanding teaching, learning and support.

We have well established partnerships with both Manchester United Foundation and Salford Red Devils and we work closely with wider stakeholders to support the delivery of the curriculum. As such the successful candidate will need strong communication and interpersonal skills.
