We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a Programme Achievement Manager to join our Student Services team. This is a full-time, fixed-term role until the end of the Easter term (March 2025) in the first instance.

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated professional who is passionate about supporting apprenticeship learners and promoting positive student behaviour. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring learners stay on track, achieve their qualifications, and develop the professional and personal skills needed for success in their chosen careers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track student progress across apprenticeship and vocational programmes, ensuring timely achievement and progression.

• Develop and implement targeted intervention strategies to improve attendance, engagement, and performance.

• Lead on behaviour management across assigned programmes, promoting a culture of respect, accountability, and professionalism.

• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, assessors, and employers to identify and address barriers to student success.

• Provide clear, supportive guidance to students, helping them meet academic and behavioural expectations.

• Analyse and report on performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

• Build strong relationships with employers, parents, and guardians to ensure consistent support and communication.

• Contribute to the ongoing development of college policies and procedures relating to behaviour, attendance, and learner achievement.

• Participate in staff meetings and professional development to maintain high standards of practice.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• A recognised teaching qualification (or equivalent experience).

• Proven experience in supporting apprenticeship learners or vocational education programmes.

• Strong understanding of behaviour management, learner engagement, and intervention strategies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.

• Analytical approach with the ability to interpret performance data and drive improvement.

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and flexible attitude.

• A commitment to promoting a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
