Here is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and self motivated individual to join our team.
Busbridge Infant School is a two-form entry infant school with a nursery. The school boasts wonderful outdoor spaces; a large field, children's play equipment, raised vegetable and flower beds, an amazing Woodland School area accessed through a locked gate with a safe pond, mud kitchen, bug hotel, and a log sitting space for story telling and camp fires. All classes have access to outdoor learning spaces so that children can explore activities both inside and outside the classroom to engage in learning.
Visitors to the school are impressed by the redevelopment of the site. The newly opened building includes the main school's reception waiting area which is located at the front of the school and has access to a disabled toilet. Guests will only be able to gain access to the rest of the school once they are signed in and greeted by the appropriate member of staff. There are a range of designated office spaces, a discreet children's medical area and two stunning, purposely built, Year 2 classes which have incredible facilities designed to improve the learning environment. New corridors blend seamlessly to the existing school which lead to two Early Years Foundation Stage classes and outside learning environment, additional intervention learning spaces, breakout spaces, a large dining hall, school library, cloakrooms and toilet facilities for each class and enabling inside and outside learning environments for all year groups. There are two classes in each year group; Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 with a total number of 180 children.
