Student Counsellor (Fixed Term Maternity cover until March 2022)

Term Time only (38 weeks per year) 15 hours per week.

Required: 31st August 2021

Salary: Grade E, Full time equivalent range £25,638-£28,217 (actual salary after pro rata £8,711.12-£9,587.39)

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced counsellor to join our counselling team. The team provides a professional and confidential counselling service to students, promoting their emotional health and well-being and building their resilience to help them cope with the difficulties they face.

To be successful you will hold a diploma in counselling or equivalent as well as have BACP membership of affiliation to another professional counselling body. You will also have experience in providing counselling or therapy to individuals or groups, ideally with experience of working with under 18 year olds.
