Laboratory Supervisor

Salary: Up to £29,163 per annum (dependant on qualifications and experience)

Working pattern: Full-time (37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year)

Location: Sparsholt Campus

As a University Laboratory Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards within our laboratories. Your responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day operations of the labs such as the HE Science Labs, Agritech Lab, and Vertical Growing Research Facility. You will ensure all laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated, assist in the preparation and setup of laboratory experiments and practical sessions, and provide support to both students and academic staff during laboratory activities and with research. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, you will collaborate with the academic team to develop and improve laboratory procedures and protocols.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree and proven experience working in a laboratory setting, strong organizational and multitasking skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
