We are seeking to recruit to our renowned team of Horticulture staff đ˛
Due to our expanding provision, we are looking to recruit an individual with a passion for plants, a range of transferable skills and comfortable teaching a range of courses including RHS, T Level and our Sparsholt Practical Award.
The areas of teaching allocated will be dependent upon the successful applicantâs knowledge and competency, but the successful applicant should be competent to deliver some of the following areas Plant Identification, Plant Establishment, Plant Propagation, Plant Health, Plant Care, Plant Pruning, Garden Features and Grassed Areas.
Applicants should have good all round horticultural and landscaping knowledge and must have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience together with a Level 4 (or above) qualification. Preferably substantial industry experience and previous teaching experience.
Ability to deliver practical skills such as the use of ride-on mowers, pedestrian mowers, hedge cutters, grass trimmers and blowers would be beneficial.
The successful applicant will either hold, or be prepared to attain, a recognised teaching qualification and assessing qualifications for which full support will be given. Additionally, the post holder will be required to have good IT skills alongside excellent communication skills.
