🏠Are you passionate about traditional craft skills and keen to help shape the future of the thatching industry? We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Apprenticeship Progress Mentor to join our supportive apprenticeship team.
About the role:
This exciting role involves developing, delivering and supporting the Level 2 Thatching Apprenticeship Programme, helping apprentices develop their skills, knowledge and confidence as they progress through their training. You will work closely with apprentices, employers and industry partners, building strong relationships and providing guidance to ensure successful outcomes for all learners.
As an Apprenticeship Progress Mentor, you will play a vital role in preserving and promoting an important heritage trade while supporting individuals to achieve their career goals. You will regularly visit apprentices in the workplace and liaise with the businesses that employ them.
About you:
We are looking for someone with practical experience in thatching, who is passionate about sharing their expertise with others. You will hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject and be keen to support and inspire people entering the profession.
This role provides a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take their career in a new direction and make a real difference to the next generation of Thatchers.
