About the role: 🌟 📚

We’re recruiting to the role of Curriculum Leader – English in which the successful applicant will lead in the day-to-day management and leadership of our Functional Skills English provision at our Sparsholt campus. Working with your team of lecturers, you will help develop the curriculum and delivery so that it is innovative and supports continued improvements in learner success and achievement.

The curriculum area is undergoing an exciting change with learner outcomes and progress being at the forefront of this change. The Curriculum Leader will work closely with the Assistant Principal and Senior Curriculum Leaders to build on current accomplishments and elevate the provision towards Outstanding.

We’re looking for a motivated student-centred leader who is passionate about English education and committed to helping learners achieve their full potential.

You should have:

• Experience in working with young people or learners in an educational setting

• Holding a minimum of a grade 4/C in English and maths at GCSE level (or equivalent)

• A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and inspiring students

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• The ability to lead, motivate and support a team of lecturers

• A proactive approach to curriculum development and quality improvement
