St Laurence School

Salary: NJC Grade E SCP 6-8 £19,698 - £20,493 FTE (actual pro rata salary £4,566 - £4,750)

Start Date: 7th June 2021 or ASAP after appointment (to allow handover with current Clerk in Term 6)

Contract: Permanent

Hours of work: 390 hours per annum (paid at 10 hours pw), 39 weeks per annum


Vacancy details:

To provide efficient, effective and confidential, administrative support to the Governing Body in the performance of its statutory obligations.  Advising the Governing Body on constitutional matters, duties and powers, working within the broad current legislative framework to ensure the continuity of Governing Body business.  The successful candidate will be required to attend and take minutes at 4 committee meetings and 1 full governing body meeting each term.

You will be joining St Laurence School and a dynamic Admin Team where good communication, office administration experience and ICT skills (Excel and Word) are essential. Hours of work: 390 hours per annum (paid at 10 hours pw), 39 weeks per annum.  Term Time + occasional work required in the holidays.  Actual hours will vary from week to week according to the schedule of meetings, which are mostly held in the evenings at the School (4 committee meetings and 1 full governing body meeting each term).

To commence on 7th June 2021 or ASAP after appointment (to allow handover with the current Clerk in Term 6).
