We are a friendly and successful 2-form entry primary school within the Xavier Catholic Education Trust. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant with exceptional written and verbal English with strong people skills. Strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail are also essential to ensure your work is delivered to a high standard. The school office is a busy environment so we are looking for a flexible team player with a great sense of humour and a positive ‘can do’ attitude. You will work alongside our friendly and dedicated team carrying out a wide range of administrative tasks.
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only (40 weeks per year)
Hours: 24.25 hours per week as per working pattern below:
Monday 8.30am to 3.45pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
Tuesday & Thursday 10.00am to 3.45pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
Salary: PS4.2 FTE £25,052pa, pro rata £14,891.07pa (support staff pay award under review)
The successful candidate will:
• Be a confident, organised, pro-active individual who can prioritise their time and workload, whilst having to deal with unexpected interruptions
• Learn quickly, use initiative to work accurately and stay calm in a busy front of house environment
• Be well-organised, with good time-management skills, able to prioritise and multi-task
• Be an excellent team player and willing to take on new challenges and training
• Have high standards of written and spoken English, is numerate with good IT skills and attention to detail
