RECEPTIONIST/FIRST AIDER (School Administration Support Level 3)

Salary: BG7 equivalent ££26,824-£28,142 pro rata plus First Aid Allowance

Location: Whitchurch, Bristol

Contract Type: 37 hours per week (term time only) (part time hours would be considered)

Contract Term: Permanent contract

The Governors of this outstanding Catholic 11–16 school are seeking to appoint a Lead First Aider/Receptionist who will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and smooth day-to-day running of the school. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality first aid provision to students, while also managing front-of-house reception duties and providing essential administrative support within a busy school office.

You will:

  • Provide both reception and clerical support in a busy school office
  • Be the main point of contact for parents and visitors, ensuring information flows are effective.
  • Complete first aid training and be the front line first aider providing basic first aid to students

  • Able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a school setting.
  • Empathetic – able to build a rapport with both adults and with students of all ages, ability background.
  • Well-organised and proactive – a supportive team player.
  • An excellent communicator, with good people-skills.
