Marketing and Communications Officer - 37 hours per week, Full Year

Come and join our amazing Marketing team where you’ll be responsible for creating and executing really impactful activities across a number of channels.

These include our website (CMS), email marketing (dotdigital), paid media, social media (paid and organic), and press. Ideally you’ll already be super-confident building and delivering omni-channel campaigns; able to analyse impact to innovate, and have experience with Google Analytics, SEO/SEM monitoring tools (Semrush, Search console) and Excel.

A key feature of the role, will be the generation of content and media for the use in marketing campaigns and communications programmes. Copywriting and mixed media content creation across article programmes, print and PR will all be areas you are confident to deliver, and our email marketing campaigns will take flight with your input.

You’ll support the College with its student recruitment marketing and sometimes in-person with external and Open Events to ensure we build and maintain our strong stakeholder relationships.

In terms of personal attributes, we’re looking for a colleague who is creative, collaborative, and confident being hands-on in an often fast-paced environment. Most of all we are looking for someone who is approachable – with a positive attitude and a willingness to step in to help colleagues.

Not sure you meet all the requirements? Let us decide! Research shows that women and members of other underrepresented groups tend not to apply for jobs if they think they may not meet every qualification, when in fact they often do. At St Brendan’s we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and strongly encourage you to apply.

We ensure that all hiring decisions are made without regard to age, race, national origin, sex, disability, gender, gender identity, religion, or any other protected characteristics, and treat all applications with the strictest confidence. We’re always open to hearing how we can support flexible working in different ways, including part-time work. Please don’t be afraid to ask about what we can do to support your needs. All requests will be carefully and fairly considered and we wish you every success in your application.

Our job adverts may close as soon as sufficient applications have been received. Considering this, if you are interested in this role, please do apply as soon as you can.
