Are you passionate about making a positive impact on young people's lives? Are you eager to support their educational journey and help them achieve their full potential?

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of OCR A Level Design & Technology: Design Engineering to become part of our high-performing and supportive team, where success and innovation drive everything we do.

As a Teacher of D&T your passion for the subject and commitment to delivering high-quality teaching will inspire our students to reach their full potential and take confident steps toward achieving their aspirations.

We are looking for an innovative and inspirational classroom practitioner who would work collaboratively with the team and who can motivate students engage with the subject and to participate actively in lessons. As a committed and dedicated teacher, you will contribute to all aspects of the curriculum, ensuring students benefit from a high-quality learning experience.

To be successful in this role your teaching will be of high quality and this will be reflected in your results. You will:

Be passionate about your subject

Be able to inspire our students to develop confidence in their design skills

Demonstrate how design and technology can be transferred into all aspects of everyday life.

Be innovative in using technology, CAD & relevant IT skills and practical skills to bring the curriculum to life.

Bring a ‘can do’ and ‘will do’ work ethic.

Set high expectations and foster a culture of where students respect others and their physical surroundings.

To apply for the Teacher of Design and Technology opportunity you must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant field. Whilst previous experience delivering highly engaging and inspirational lessons would be beneficial, we would encourage applications from someone ready to take their first steps into education - we are here to support your professional journey and help you thrive in this rewarding role.

This role would ideally start in May 2026.
