We currently have a position available within St David’s Catholic Sixth Form College for a dedicated and efficient Senior ICT Technician to join the IT team providing a high-quality service to staff and students.
Job Overview
To provide excellent 2nd line ICT support service to the College to ensure effective and efficient use of technology throughout. The Senior ICT Technician will also assist the Systems Administrator with network and server management tasks as required.
Job Requirements
A minimum of 5 GCSE, including English and Maths
Recognised IT Qualification, training or industry experience.
Knowledge of trouble shooting on both hardware and software.
Good communication skills.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Server technologies, software and cloud based solutions.
Supporting building management systems
Installing/Supporting Audio Visual systems.
Job Details
The position is offered as a full time role on a permanent contract and it attracts a salary of £30,227.64.
Shortlisting will take place on 27th May 2025
Interviews will be held the week beginning 9th June 2025
The College operates a Sixth Form College academic year and therefore the Autumn Term begins in late August to allow for enrolment activities.
