Are you passionate about teaching English Literature and Classics and looking for your next exciting opportunity?

Strodes College have an exciting opportunity for an inspirational and dynamic candidate to join our team of educators on a full-time basis as a Teacher of English & Classical Civilisation to deliver high quality teaching and academic support to enable our learners to reach their full potential in A Level Classics and English Literature.

Teacher of English & Classical Civilisation

As a Teacher of English & Classical Civilisation, you will provide effective delivery of a teaching programme within the areas of competence paying due regard of student progression towards successful and value-added completion.

You will also develop ways of working that are responsive to learners’ needs, monitoring and evaluating student progression and practice. A natural communicator and proven motivator, you will thrive on student interaction- giving effective guidance and helping them make the most of their futures.

The successful candidate will possess an appropriate degree and an endorsed teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards this. You will also have recent experience and knowledge of recent developments in the teaching of A Level English and Maths.

The base location for this role will be our Strodes College site but travel will be required to our other campuses across the college group.
