Located in a lovely corner of Surrey, Crawley Ridge Infant School is a two-form entry community school which includes a nursery. We are privileged to sit on beautiful, mature grounds, which play an important part in the children’s learning.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised School Administrator to join our team at Crawley Ridge Infant School. Reporting to the Office Manager, this mainly term-time role (with 1 week to be worked in the school holiday) involves supporting the efficient running of the school’s administrative procedures. Key responsibilities include managing pupil meals, handling resource orders, providing administration for school trips and lettings, maintaining attendance and safeguarding records, and providing general clerical support to both the Senior Leadership Team and teaching staff. The successful candidate will be a friendly, proactive team player with excellent communication and organisational skills. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy office/school environment and is committed to contributing to the smooth operation of our school.
Start Date: 5th November (an earlier start date would be considered)
Salary: Surrey Pay S3 Pay range FTE £23,576 (£19,446 - £19,795 pro rata)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Part time/Term time 5 days a week, 08:30 – 15:30 with a 30-minute lunch break

Manage pupil meal, milk, and snack systems, and handle related communications.
Maintain records of allergies and special diets for students.
Administer stock and resource management, including placing orders and checking deliveries.
Support attendance management and ensure accurate records, following up on absences.
Assist with educational visits, school events, and lettings administration.
Provide first aid and ensure medical records and supplies are up to date.
Perform general office duties, maintaining a tidy reception and office area.
Provide high-level customer service to parents, staff, and visitors.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies.
Maintain communication systems, manage the school website, and assist with administrative tasks for the Senior Leadership Team.
Liaise with parents, staff, contractors, and local authorities effectively.
