This is an exciting opportunity to join our wrap around team as a Nursery Nurse Level 3 for the new 2/3 year old provision opening at Bricknell Primary School in September 2025.
Salary: Grade 6, Point 14 £28,624.00 - Point 19 £31,067 pro rata, Monday to Friday, term time plus 5 additional training days (39 weeks per year).
Working hours:
Post 1: 7.30am - 8.30am - 5 Hours per week
Post 2: 3.30pm - 6.00pm - 12 hours and 30 minutes per week
Applications for the full 17 hours and 30 minutes per week will be considered.
These posts are on a fixed term contract in the first instance until March 2026, (due to funding) a review for these to be made permanent will be considered.
The successful, well-qualified candidate will:
• have successful experience of the EYFS curriculum
• be innovative, creative and a have a passion for the early years to plan engaging activities for our pupils
• have the relevant skills and passion to plan for the next steps in childrens development
• have experience in delivering specific interventions to support the needs of all pupils
• possess excellent literacy and numeracy skills
• have experience of supporting children with special educational needs and vulnerable pupils both emotionally and academically
• have high expectations of pupils achievement
• possess good communication skills
• be a team player with a positive outlook
• be driven by the needs of our children
• have an ability to work in partnership with pupils, parents, staff and governors
• provide support under the direction and supervision of teaching staff to assist pupils to access the curriculum and participate fully in all activities;
• have a sound knowledge of Safeguarding
