Salary: SC4 (7-11) (£26,403-£28,142) pro rata (actual starting salary £22,708)

Hours: 37 hours per week, term time only plus the 5 school training days

Who we are looking for:

King Charles I School is seeking a highly organised and proactive Admin Support Assistant to lead on whole school cover coordination and medical needs support, while also providing general administrative services to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school.

This multifaceted role involves:

• Coordinating staff cover across the school

• Supporting students with medical conditions

• Administering work experience placements

• Delivering high-quality reception and administrative support across departments

The post is for 37 hours per week, term time only plus five school training days. You would be expected to start daily at 7-7.30am to coordinate staff cover.

This role reports to the Examinations and Office Manager.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail

• Experience in administrative roles, ideally within an educational setting

• 3 day First Aid certificate or willing to undertake training

• A caring and professional approach to student welfare
