Working pattern Monday to Friday - 08.30am - 3.00pm with a 30 minute unpaid break, 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only).
The role works directly with children and families, individually and in groups, particularly focusing on parenting skills, behaviour management and practical support. The role includes supporting teachers in facilitating the emotional and educational development of targeted children.
You must be able to engage with and encourage parents to fully participate with the school by attending scheduled meetings and to support them and the school with access to grants. This is a rewarding role whereby you can make a difference to the lives and expectations of the children with whom you support.
Car driver with own car is essential for the role. The successful candidate will be expected to complete home visits within a radius of approximately 10 miles from Oxted. Travel expenses will be paid.
