34.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, 8.45am – 3.45pm 4 days per week, 8.45am – 5.30pm 1 day per week - expected to be a Wednesday

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Teaching Assistant to join the team at the Linden Bridge School. A Lead TA will work alongside the class teacher and SNAs to raise the learning and attainment of all pupils in both academic and EHCP areas. Supporting pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access all areas of the curriculum, always promoting pupils’ independence.

Successful candidates will have basic numeracy and literacy eg through GCSE qualification in English and Maths or equivalent. They may be required to hold a certificate of competency in a defined area relevant to the role e.g. first aid at work, ADHD, behaviour management, advanced literacy, NNEB or other relevant qualifications at level 2. They should be competent in a range of IT tools and may be required to hold practical knowledge or experience relevant to the role.

Linden Bridge School is a special school in Worcester Park, Surrey for children and young people with complex communication and interaction needs. Originally part of the LIFT Partnership Multi Academy Trust, a family of schools who work together to use and share a wide range of expertise and services, LIFT Partnership has now merged with The Howard Partnership Trust (THPT) from March 2021.
