Teaching Assistant – Part time (Primary) required at Bridge Learning Campus
Contract: Permanent, part-time (19.5hrs), term time only plus inset days
Salary: BG8 £26,873 - £28,770 FTE (Actual £12,385 to £13,261)
Hours: Mon-Wed, 19.5 hours per week (Mon-Wed, 8.15am-3.15pm)
JOB OVERVIEW
We are in a position to appoint a strong Teaching Assistant candidate to support a wide range of needs at Bridge Learning Campus – Primary - in Bristol. The role is varied, and we are looking for adaptable, flexible and resourceful individuals able to cope in a high-pressure environment and deal with constantly changing priorities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Supporting children in mainstream classes wither in KS1 or KS2
Accompanying groups on trips
Supporting assessment and evidencing learning
Working with the teacher to create stimulating classroom displays and learning resources
Maintaining a safe and positive environment for all learners
Creating opportunities for all learners to reach their potential, irrespective of ability

Fluency Duty
The ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users of the service and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
