Position: Classroom Teaching Assistant
Contract: Fixed-term until 31/08/2025 pending review of funding, 32.5 hours Monday to Friday, Term Time only plus inset days
Salary: BG8 - actual salary £20,642
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and hardworking Learning Support Assistants to join our amazing school team and play a role in enabling all children (including those with SEND) to access the full life and opportunities of the school.
The post is full-time hours (Monday to Friday 8.40am to 3.40pm).
The successful applicant will be/have:
Qualified to a minimum of NVQ 3 or equivalent (including Maths and English GCSE Grade C or equivalent).
An understanding of, and vision for, the care and education of children aged 4-11, especially those with a range of Special Educational Needs.
The skills and understanding necessary to engage all children in their learning.
Able to contribute to the life of the school.
The ability to work under direction as part of a team and able to use their own initiative.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a disclosure application and provide details of any criminal convictions.

Fluency Duty
The ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users of the service and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
