Yate Academy have an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages, Spanish (French in addition would be desirable) to join our existing Languages team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will motivate, challenge, support and inspire our students. They must also have relevant experience in a similar role with a proven track record.

Responsibilities will include:

  • To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
  • To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/tutor.
  • To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to accelerate with their learning.
  • To contribute to raising standards of student attainment across the school.
  • To share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
