We are seeking an experienced and visionary individual to join us as the Programme Team Leader for Social Sciences. Due to significant growth and expansion, we are increasing the number of curriculum leader roles across our specialist provider of Sixth Form education.
About You:
- Hold a degree in Social Sciences or a related field and possess a teaching qualification.
- Demonstrate a successful track record as a lecturer, making a significant impact on student progress.
- Showcase leadership qualities and a desire to take on managerial responsibilities.
Leadership and Managerial Responsibilities:
- Lead and co-ordinate a team of lecturers in the Social Sciences curriculum area which offers A-levels in Sociology, Psychology, Law, Criminology and Philosophy.
- Manage resources effectively to enhance the delivery of high-quality courses.
- Play a pivotal role in student tracking mechanisms and contribute to early leaver analysis and student destination surveys.
- Establish personal knowledge of students and maintain detailed records in an agreed format.
- Take responsibility for a delegated budget and contribute to the overall management of College resources.
