We are now seeking a Industry Engagement Manager to lead, strengthen, and expand our employer relationships – playing a pivotal role in apprenticeships, commercial training, work placements, and skills development.

💼 The role

This is a senior, high‑profile leadership role with real influence. You will:

• Lead and inspire a team of Industry Engagement Consultants and Apprenticeship Advisers
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with employers and key stakeholders
• Drive apprenticeship recruitment, commercial income, externally funded projects, and mandatory work placements
• Represent the College at regional events, employer forums, and sector networks
• Use labour market insight to influence curriculum development and future provision

You’ll be central to strengthening the College’s reputation as a trusted, high‑performing partner for business.

🎯 What you’ll be doing

• Leading a results‑driven Industry Engagement team
• Managing high‑value employer relationships across priority sectors
• Supporting apprenticeships, Skills Bootcamps, commercial training, full time students and T‑Levels
• Ensuring excellent employer and learner experiences
• Using CRM and data systems to track performance and impact
• Working collaboratively across the College to deliver employer‑led solutions

👤 Who we’re looking for

You’ll bring:

• Strong B2B commercial and partnership development experience
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to deliver results
• Confidence working at senior and board level
• Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship‑building skills
• Drive, ambition, and a passion for education, skills, and economic growth

Experience in apprenticeships, training, or education is desirable – but commercial leadership and employer engagement expertise are essential.
